We are so, so, so lucky to be living on a multi-generational farm with the boys' grandparents. I don't know if I've written about this before, but Jonno's grandfather bought the farm when he came back to New Zealand after W.W.2. It is still being used as a working dairy farm to this day.
Jonno's dad 'retired' from the farm many years ago but we are very fortunate as he still keeps a hand in and seems very cheerful to be put to good use by Jonno!
This weekend I caught a few moments on camera between the boys and their Poppa. Here they are planting a Lancewood together.
Checking for white bait in one of the streams that flow through to the estuary.
And performing Gangnam Style as you do when you find yourself in the middle of a farm.
Our calves are beginning to pop out, more and more every day. How wonderful to be born on a warm day and snooze in the sunshine. These days are precious mid winter.
The boys and Jonno.... I lub dem.
Lots and lots of love,
Kate xxooxx.
