Thank you so much for providing a tutorial. They are lovely baubles that I'd love to add to my Christmas tree. Have a lovely time in Australia. Cheers.
They´re incredible, Kate!
And your tutorial is great! I´ve linked to it in my last post for all the Brazilian crafters!
Thanks a lot for sharing so many incredible things during the whole year!
GORGEOUS!! I saw these earlier today and fell in love - now I just have to make some :) :)
Oh sorry - one question, are they "hollow", or did you fill them?
So adorable! I may have to bookmark this for next year's handmade ornament gifty for my friends!
Don't these look like a fun bauble to make!
Thanks for this Kate... so kind of you to share it with us all.. I shall make a few as soon as possible :)x
Hi Kate, What yarn and what size hook do you use? Apologies if it is in the instructions somewhere, but I don't see it :). I assume using a different yarn/hook will give you a different shaped bauble, and I want mine to be as round as yours! I am not so experienced that I can improvise yet.. maybe one day
Thanks for the tutorial, can't wait to get started

Thank you very much for the tutorial. Kisses.
these are so beautiful Kate and look so precious in the box. Next year I am going to try these, I wanted to make some with the little topper but wasn't sure how to do it. And love your gold thread-where did you find it? Is it yarn or embroidery thread? Merry Christmas Kate!
These are really lovely! :)
So lovely handwork you have done, Love that it is a little gold on the top of the baubles!!
Love Anna
Just love those Christmas baubles! I don´t think I have the right patience to do them by my self, but I wrote a post and linked to your blog.
Wish you a great christmas holiday

I've found you via the wonderful Lucy of Attic24 and boy am I glad....I just LOVE these baubles! I've also spotted a gorgeous blanket/shawl wrapped around your sons shoulders, bright hexagons joined in white - do you have a tutorial for that? It's beautiful!

Hi, I was wondering if it would be alright with you if I made some of these to sell? I'm planning to start a little shop on Etsy to sell some crocheted items and I was hoping to include these. I would give you full credit for the pattern of course and also include a link to it. Or whatever you'd prefer. Please let me know what you think! These little baubles are adorable and so clever :)
Round 6/7 - I didn't come up with the same number of stitches. I do one single crochet, move to the next stitch, do 2 sc, and then do 3 in the next one? Repeat? I got tons more than 30. What did I do wrong?
thanks!
vespalover- I think I can help you out. Do one single crochet in each of the next three stitches then two single crochets in the next stitch then repeat the same again. Hope I have clarified this for you. Good Luck!

Can you please tell me what thread you used for the toggle??
Thank You!!
I love this pattern! Hopefully I can get a few made in time for Christmas this year. Thank you for sharing!
Hi there,
Just started these this afternoon. This pattern is great thank you so much. I was just planning to crochet stars and hearts and some snowflakes for the tree as I've got tonnes of bits of wool that I've been hoarding. Baubles are just amazing though. I can't wait to have them on tree :) thanks again.

These are awesome. I am going to try this. :)

Very adorable tree baubles! I'm having dificulty locating the thread/floss/yarn that you have used in the toggle. Could you please list the brand name and any other info regarding it, as well as the hook size you used for it. I was planning on making sets of these this year as gifts for family and friends & realy don't want to use plain yellow yarn in replace of the metallic.
BelĂssimo trabalho!
A vocĂª e a sua famĂlia, um Feliz Natal e um Prospero Ano Novo! Bjs
I am unfirtunately too late this year to crochet those marvellous Christams baubles but I will try them next year for sure!!!Merry Christmas to you :)
