More Baskets and Bunting Necklaces.

Well, the bicycle basket is done and now waiting to be attached to handle bars. I am still thinking about making an oilcloth bucket/bag to slip into but that may be another project for another month.

And the other bit of busyness involves these little bunting necklaces which I am thinking about putting into a shop in town. I have to come up with a price for them though..... always awkward.

Now, a huge thank you for all of your lovely comments on the tutu post - you made me feel VERY happy!!! And yes, I had better to start thinking of more events to wear it to.... maybe just to town?
Well, off to the library - my favie place in the world.
Lots of love,
Kate xxooxx.

  1. What a beautiful bicycle basket! It is truly adorable :)

Where did you find the patten for those crocheted flowers? Or is it one you made up yourself?

  2. I must ask . . what brand yarn do you use, and what colors are in your basic palate? I just love the brightness of them.

  3. Hope the library was good. Saw you heading in while I was coming back from dropping the cherubs off. Think I'll pop in to the library before I pick them up. Catch up soon!!

  4. oh - it's so wonderful and colourful and sunshiney visiting you here. I do wish I could visit in real...... the rain here is too too much, and we are all bored of the pond surrounding our house.
I would buy that little bunting necklace with the rainbow buntings - love the red pop! If you put it in your online shop I will surely buy it straight away...... please....

I'm imagining you at the library wearing your tutu and tiara. All the kids will be lining up to hear stories from the fairy princess.

    xx
Also - as Paula asked; what yarn do you use? I want to start working on some cherriness like yours!

  8. You are so clever. It is really hard to price your own work isn't it. I don't know the rate of exchange for where you live, but I would charge $15.00 to $20.00 American dollars for the bunting necklaces. They are too cute. The basket looks great with the flowers on it.
