My Jumper.

This weekend while all the boys were away at cub camp, I managed to finish my jumper. It is so soft and warm and fits like a dream. I will ask Archie to take a photo of me in it when he comes home from school later.
Even though the boys were away I had my new rabbit keeping me company. I will crochet a garland for him, he is needing a bit of Easter fanciness.
And now I am about to head upstairs and finish off a pink corduroy skirt I began yesterday for my own bit of Easter fanciness.... there is nothing like eating chocolate eggs dressed in pink corduroy, living the dream I am, living the dream.
Lots of love,
Kate xxooxx.

  3. The cardigan is looking good - my weekend was slightly similar to your in that my husband and son were at a cub camp, so I managed to get a little quilting and gardening done. Easter weekend husband and daughter at scout camp - so I guess a little more sewing will be done - with eggs of course. Can't wait to see you in your skirt with the cardigan.

  4. If I say you will look good enough to eat...what would you say. I've been thinking...no, not a candy cane, maybe fairy floss. The cardigan is lovely and I can imagine the pink skirt, they will be lovely and snug, now bring on the cold! Love Mrs A
PS I was thinking of fairy floss as on Friday I saw fairy floss at the supermarket, in a plastic tub making it look very ordinary. Nothing like the fairy floss we loved at the local agricultural shows, twirled onto a stick, magic to small eyes. Then eating it or feeling it just disintegrate in your mouth. A plastic container....no romance or excitement.

  5. I forgot to ask you if you managed on your own..were you lonely.....did you eat? Yes I know, you relished every minute of it, eating when and what, knitting, sitting, thinking, no interruptions!! I loved my few hours yesterday and that was just with a husband gone! Love Mrs A

  6. Hey, you're already monday and we're still sunday here in Belgium.

After all this time it still feel weird to me.

I'm very curious whether the cardigan will fit. Very colourful and so good matching with the bunny.

    Looking forward to the picture.
